It's A Jungle Out There

If you have ever read meters, you know how hard it can be trying to fight your way (LIKE TARZAN) through a jungle of shrubs, brush, poison oak, weeds, rattlesnakes, bee hives, and our personal favorite, Pampas Grass.

When we read the meters we usually make a list of services that are in dire need of botanical attention.  We come back later and trim around the meter box, thus making the next visit much more pleasant.  The majority of the meters are located within property line utility easements.

Please help us! Technically, trimming around the meter box is the home owners responsibility but more importantly, the owner may have a preferred way to trim their yard.  Most meters are very accessible, Thank You!  It's just those few that need attention.  So next time have your pruning shears in hand, please think about your friendly neghboorhood meter reader.
